Mr. Cummings has over 27 years of investment banking, research and commercial lending experience in the Energy industry. After joining Johnson Rice in 1997 as a research analyst covering OFS stocks, Mr. Cummings has been in the corporate finance department since 1998. Since that time, Mr. Cummings and the corporate finance team have led over 40 public and 8 private equity transactions totaling over $5 billion. The team has also advised buyers and sellers on 28 transactions totaling over $4 billion in total value. Mr. Cummings is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Cummings received his B.S. in Corporate Finance and Investment Management from the University of Alabama.
Mr. Cummings has over 22 years of experience in the Energy industry originating, structuring, executing, and advising on investment banking and financing transactions for public and private companies throughout various stages of their lifecycle. Mr. Cummings' multi-faceted experience includes roles in investment banking, equity research and commercial lending. Prior to joining Johnson Rice in 2004, Mr. Cummings worked as a corporate lender with J.P. Morgan and Whitney National Bank. Mr. Cummings graduated from Loyola University with a double major in Finance and Business Management and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.
Mr. Seremet joined Johnson Rice in 2005 and has 16 years of investment banking experience in the energy space. While at Johnson Rice, Mr. Seremet has had significant experience in public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations. Mr. Seremet graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University with a triple major in Finance, Economics, and Legal Studies. While at Tulane, Mr. Seremet was selected to participate in the Burkenroads research analyst program and the Darwin Fenner fund assisting in the management of Tulane’s endowment.
Mr. Jones joined Johnson Rice in 2018 as an investment banking analyst after internships at Standard Chartered Bank, Goodrich Petroleum, Grana Y Montero, and Neuberger Berman interfaced with his academic career. Mr. Jones' work experience has encompassed equity research, asset divestitures, equity offerings, strategic alternatives processes, debt restructurings, valuations, fairness opinions, and financial modeling focused on the Energy sector. Mr. Jones holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, a B.A. in Geology from Texas A&M University, and a M.S. in Finance with specialization in Investment Banking from Bocconi University.
